Pricing and expectations:

Minimum service charge is $250

No feet will be done unless the animal is down and in restraints. This is
for the safety of the animal as well as those performing the shearing.
Shots not to be given prior to or during shearing service.

Vaccinations may be administered at the discretion of the shearer.
Consult with your shearer.

There will be no teeth/hoof trimming or shots admistered while the
actual shearing is taking place. If you would like to perform
these tasks on your animals there will need to be two sets of
restraints used.

Have animal present and ready for shearing. All blowing and grooming needs to be done ahead of time.

In the occurrence that Dave and the header will be expected to place
the alpacas down in the restraints, the pricing will follow the (1) set of
restraints or station price list.

 

Llama Shearing Prices

(1) Llama Shearing tied down and in restraints

(a) $30.00-$50.00 full body shear
(b) $35 barrel cut
(c) $10 hoof trimming
(d) $10 teeth (dental work)

(2) Llama shearing standing (will not shear in chutes)

(a)  For the safety of your animal, the shearer, and helpers,
we no longer perform full-body shearing or trimming of hooves
and teeth on llama’s standing.
(b)  $35 barrel cut

    Wondering if you would shear our 16 alpacas here in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. We recently moved in and do not have our barn built; however, we do have 2 lean-to’s. Would you be able to set-up using the lean-to’s?
